Detroit Diesel Corp. has awarded a portion of the production of its Series 60 cylinder head to Cifunsa Diesel S.A. de C.V., Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico, an affiliate of Grupa Industrial Saltillo (GIS).
Cifunsa is the largest casting supplier to Detroit Diesel for heads and blocks utilized in both the Series 60 and two cycle engine families.
