The William H. McFadden Gold Medal
John L. Kelly, president (retired), CWC Castings Div. (Textron, Inc.), Muskegon, Michigan, was awarded the William H. Fadden Gold Medal "for his demonstrated leadership of AFS and the metalcasting industry in the area of management practices." An active member of AFS since 1976, Kelly has served as its president (1986-87), vice president (1985-86) and a national director (class of 1984 and 1988). He also served as a Cast Metals Institute director (1985-88) and is a former trustee of the Foundry Education Foundation.
