Jun. 22--On Indianapolis' affluent Northside, Jim Webb sells one of the least expensive new cars on the road in America: the Hyundai.
Many Northside drivers no doubt would prefer a $35,000 luxury truck to the $9,000 and $12,000 economy models in Webb's showroom near The Fashion Mall at Keystone at the Crossing.
But with gas prices surging to more than $1.70 a gallon, business apparently couldn't be better for a line of small autos able to cover 37 miles on a single gallon of gasoline.
