Forget rubbing and brushing. It appears the hottest thing this summer is soaking.
And no, we don't mean a pedicure for your sandal-destined tootsies.
It's marinades _ seemingly an army of them _ marching across grocery store shelves. Lawry's, KC Masterpiece, Paul Prudhomme and Stubb's all have products to coat and tenderize food. Even companies not known for barbecue or spices have entered the arena. A.1. Steak Sauce and French's also have products in the category.
