Clark Woods has been promoted to senior vice president, general sales manager for the Domestic Distribution Division of Paramount Pictures, it was announced today by Wayne Lewellen, president of Paramount Theatrical Distribution. Paramount Pictures is part of the entertainment operations of Viacom Inc.

In his new position, Mr. Woods will oversee the theatrical licensing of all of Paramount's films in the North American market and supervise all activities of the six regional sales offices in North America. He will to report to Mr. Lewellen.
