JUPITER, Fla., June 28 /PRNewswire/ --
Greg Norman, winner of 86 worldwide golf titles, will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his right hip Wednesday (June 28) for treatment of a torn labrum. The procedure may also call for a thermal tightening of the hip capsule to enhance the joint's stability. The operation is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
Dr. Marc J. Philippon, one of the world's leading hip arthroscopists, will perform the procedure at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
