The redesign of speaker grilles for its new "Vision by Mack" highway tractor line called for the use of newer, better, and lighter materials offering equal or enhanced aesthetics and functionality compared with previously used materials. It also required that the resulting parts be easily produced, integrated, and assembled into the truck's ergonomically functional interior cabin and exterior.
