WU WORLD COMMUNICATIONS DEBENTURES TO BE REDEEMED

UPPER SADDLE RIVER, N.J., Feb. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Western Union Corporation (NYSE: WU) announced today that all of the outstanding 8-1/2 percent sinking fund debentures due 1996 (approximately $23.5 million aggregate principal amount) of WU World Communications Inc. (formerly ITT World Communications Inc.) have been called for redemption on Feb. 29, 1988, at 101.25 percent of principal, with accrued interest to the date of redemption.
