Thousands of passengers face hours of delays at British airports today following yesterday's breakdown of a crucial link in Britain's air traffic control system.
Lengthy hold-ups are expected as airlines struggled to reassemble schedules devastated by the chaos.
While the air traffic control system was working normally by 2pm yesterday, airline executives said it could take two days before schedules are back to normal.
