PROJECT OVERVIEW
The local ROAM ANTELOPE MINING CORP. (RAMC) is currently gearing- up to begin construction work at its Muliashi copper/cobalt mine by some time around August 2000. According to Ahmed Latif, RAMC Vice-President, project financing is already in place and his company is currently negotiating engineering contracts.
Indian Banks will reportedly provide $70,000,000 in project financing and will award mining machinery valued at $45,000,000. The rest of the needed machinery and equipment is expected to be sourced from the U.S. and Europe.
