Keisha Anderson had just spent the better part of two days stranded in a pair of airports with her Washington Mystics teammates last week when she was handed a cell phone, and told a reporter wanted to chat with her.
Mechanical problems with a couple different planes, combined with weather-related delays, eventually resulted in the Mystics' WNBA game in Indianapolis being postponed that night (June 15) -- something almost unheard of in major sports leagues.
Yet when Anderson spoke into the phone, she sounded more like a kid at Disney World than a disgruntled traveler.
