If the word "flake" always comes to mind when you think of physicians who practice alternative and complementary medicine, Dr. Glenn Rothfeld advises you to change your attitude. "The explosion of alternative and complementary medicine is underway, whether physicians support it or not," says Dr. Rothfeld, a family physician who is medical director of a Boston-area integrative medicine center. The center is owned by American WholeHealth Inc., a national chain of physician-led integrative medicine centers.
