REAL ESTATE is one of those professions that draws people who have held other jobs, even retired.
It can be rewarding financially, but it also provides a sense of pride in matching people with the homes they want.
Inside are the stories of three Hampton Roads agents and what drew them to the business:
Clyde Cooper Jr. didn't have to think twice about what he wanted to do when he retired from the Navy. He enjoyed talking to people. He had sales experience. Real estate was his choice.
``I am always saying if I could have a second life, this would be it,'' said Cooper, an associate broker with RE/MAX Alliance in Virginia Beach.
