A man was killed instantly early Thursday after he lost control of his car on Tulls Creek Road and hit a large truck head-on. His brother was seriously injured.
James E. McLatchy, 24, of Moyock was trying to pass another car at 7:50 a.m. on narrow Tulls Creek Road not far from Guinea Road, said Sgt. Robert Boyes of the state Highway Patrol.
McLatchy pulled back behind the car to wait for an oncoming truck to pass, Boyes said, but he went too far to the right, hit the right shoulder and overcorrected, throwing the car into the truck's path. McLatchy ...
