Charles Walton spent part of Thursday zipping through ``the skies'' in his simulated F-16, dodging enemy flak and trying to bomb the bridge and oil rig he was ordered to destroy.
Walton was one of about 400 Tallwood High School students who tried flying the flight simulator in a traveling exhibit known as the U.S. Air Force Experience.
``If they did have this all over America,'' Walton, a senior said, ``they would have a lot of recruiting.''
Walton plans to enlist in the Air Force after he graduates in August.
The service hopes Walton is right about the recruiting power of its new road show.
