Numerous times, James Osburne's son has complained about the way school bus drivers talk to students on the commute to and from school.
The Elgin resident said he saw it for himself last week when he witnessed a bus driver and her assistant yelling in the faces of two young girls, 9 and 11, and refusing to let any of the 40 elementary summer school students off at a bus stop at Seneca and Brook streets.
"I put my kids' safety in these people's hands? That's ridiculous," he said.
His complaints, along with those of the mother of the two girls, are now being investigated by the Elgin Police Department's juvenile division and Elgin Area School ...
