Jul. 4--Will Dahl, chief executive officer of the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, has resigned.
Dahl has led the board since its inception in 1983. His resignation was effective last Friday, Ken McKenzie, the board's vice president of producer communications said Monday.
The board's mission is to promote Wisconsin dairy products through a $26 million annual budget. It is funded by assessments on dairy farmers.
Under Dahl, the board established the Wisconsin Center for Dairy Research at UW-Madison.
Dahl also helped develop partnerships with supermarket chains to promote Wisconsin cheese and dairy products. Nationally, cheese ...
