Baseball attachments run deep and in Sunday's Chicago Tribune, reporter Malcolm Moran looks at the history of fandom for Chicago's South Side baseball team. It's the first in a three-part series on the White Sox.
One South Side fan said it was difficult to get into Sox baseball again. It was hard to root for players who are "getting $5 million to play a game you want to play." The great equalizer, however, is winning. "It's exciting when they win, and all that White flag stuff goes out the window."
