S.C. flag carries
our Southern heritage
The recent media coverage concerning the flying of the Confederate flag over the South Carolina capital is way out of line.
If South Carolina were to remove the flag in lieu of another, you (the media) would have raped the Southern culture and America of its past history.
Why stop there? Why not insist that all U.S. military bases named after people who served in the Civil War have their names changed? Why not ban all Civil War artifacts from museums? Why not remove all text about the Civil War from history books?
The media in the Midwest and North have an excuse for their ignorance ...
