Winter weather has flushed birds out into the open over the past couple of weeks. From more ducks on neighborhood ponds, to sightings of the shy woodcock and the rare painted bunting, folks have been seeing all sorts of interesting things lately.
Whether the storm coming up from the south chased them up this way or whether they were here all along, painted buntings are gracing several yards with their presence.
