Ashton Lewis Sr. was ready to get out of the auto dealership business and turn it over to his kids, just as his father had done for him.
There was only one problem: The kids - Ashton Jr., Charlie and Susan - didn't seem interested in taking over Bill Lewis Chevrolet, the family dealership in Portsmouth.
