``At home with school,'' a series on home schooling by reporter Philip Walzer, ran on The Pilot front page for four days last week. The series, and a subsequent letter to the editor, hit home with readers. Here are some of their comments.

While it appears that home-schooled children are academically equal to their peers, or in many cases academically accelerated, academics is not more important than socialization in human development.
