``Ancient Gold Jewelry From the Dallas Museum of Art'' features more than 100 items. Most of it was recovered from tombs in the 19th and early 20th centuries, when there was growing interest in long-vanished civilizations. Less astute grave robbers would have been interested only in the value of the gold.
