A big problem holding back the Hampton Roads economy was summed up nicely the other day by Marty J. Kaszubowski.
Kaszubowski is director of the Hampton Roads Technology Incubator, an organization that attempts to get NASA-developed technology to client companies. He worries about the entrepreneurial spirit here.
In Hampton Roads, Kaszubowski said, going bust is cause to legally change your name. In Silicon Valley, a region famed for its entrepreneurial energies, ``. . . you're nobody if you haven't screwed up two or three times.''
Not that there are aren't risk-takers and go-for-broke managers in Hampton Roads. They're just not a major force, ...
