Arenafootball2 is ringing up big numbers at the gate
Two weeks into its inaugural season, arenafootball2 is a big hit at the box office.
Six of the first eight games have sold out, including a throng of 16,062 that came to see the Arkansas Twisters beat the Charleston Swamp Foxes 86-13 last Saturday in Little Rock, Ark.
The league is averaging 9,629 per game, nearly double the expected attendance. The smallest crowd was the sellout of 6,742 in Huntsville, Ala. that saw the Norfolk Nighthawks fall to the Tennessee Valley Saturday.
The Nighthawks have sold more than 5,500 tickets for their home opener Saturday against the Richmond Speed. ...
