Henry Everette's friends in uniform are literally rolling up their sleeves to help the retired Seattle police detective.
Seattle officers and colleagues in his native Louisiana will launch a public bone marrow registry drive Wednesday in hopes of finding a match for Everette.
``This really means a lot to me,'' Everette, 54, said last week from his hospital room at Swedish Medical Center.
