The blender is still the most sold electric appliance in Brazil reaching sales of 3.8mil units in 1999 against 1.1mil units of cake mixers. The blender is also on the top of the ranking if compared to stoves with 3.3mil units, refrigerators with 3.2mil, and microwave ovens with 1.4mil units in the same period.
