Scott M. Fassler of San Francisco, Calif., formerly of Needham, died Saturday in San Francisco from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was 32.

Born in Syracuse, N.Y., Mr. Fassler was raised in Needham. He attended elementary school in Needham and the Rivers School in Weston, where he excelled in football and lacrosse. He graduated from Denison University in Ohio in 1990, where he was a member of the lacrosse team and a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity.
