Levels of investment in British commercial property reached more than pounds 18 billion during 1999 - the highest figure since the boom year of 1989, according to the annual 'Money into Property' report by DTZ Research.

The DTZ report, the 25th annual review of the flows of equity and debt into the commercial property sector, is supported by two major surveys.

Both surveys aim to give an insight into the attitudes of institutional property fund managers and key organisations involved in the provision of loan finance towards the commercial property area.
