The origin of art is said to have begun with paintings and inscriptions on rocks, mostly those in caves where primitive human beings dwelled. Such paintings generally depicted animals, fish, grains, fire and other natural objects which ancient people encountered in their life. They represented their wish for the abundance of these materials as well as the survival and growth of their tribes.
