It seems fitting Johnny Dowd is performing at the Tractor Tavern the day after the Hank Williams Revue graces the Tractor stage in the midst of its winter Wednesday residency at the club.
Dowd, coincidentally, just released a new album that opens with a cover of a Hank Williams tune, ``A Picture From Life's Other Side,'' while the album's second track, ``Worried Mind,'' weaves the chorus of Williams' classic ``Jambalaya'' into its fabric.
Lest anyone get the wrong impression, however, Dowd's interpretation of the king of country music's legacy is a world away from the traditionalist tribute delivered at the Tractor's Wednesday shows. His take on ``A ...
