Late in the third quarter, Holy Names point guard Alana Woodard was fouled and hit her hip hard on the floor.
Grimacing in pain under the basket with teammates rushing to her aid, Woodard's first words were directed to her coach as she struggled to get up.
``No sub,'' she yelled.
Woodard's determination summed up the difference in Holy Names' 56-48 home victory last night against Lakeside in a battle between two ranked girls basketball teams.
Just as it was when the two squads played earlier this season, Holy Names' defense was the key.
