The federal government has placed a $5 million bounty on an Algerian man accused of playing a key role in a plot to smuggle explosives into Port Angeles four months ago.
State Department officials yesterday offered the reward to anyone providing information leading to the arrest and conviction of Abdelmajid Dahoumane.
The failure to capture Dahoumane has frustrated federal prosecutors and law enforcement officials, who consider him an important link in an alleged plot to bomb U.S. buildings and landmarks.
