Rush Limbaugh confirmed yesterday he auditioned for ``Monday Night Football,'' and he thinks the result was ``excellent.''
The conservative talk show host said he recently traveled to Los Angeles and called a prerecorded game with play-by-play host Al Michaels.
``I thought it was excellent, to tell you the truth,'' Limbaugh said in an interview with WMAL-AM.
``I surprised myself. I had not seen the game we did. And I didn't try to study up on the game, because who knows how the real game's going to play out, you never know,'' he added. ``So the thing that I came away with after it was over was how much I really dug it. It was even more fun ...
