Region Becomes More Attractive With Changing Rules
San Diego's economy is riding an all-time high bolstered by the emergence of strong high-tech, telecommunications and biotech industries.
With venture capital investment pouring into San Diego to fund new technologies and products, it should only seem natural that regional manufacturing of goods and products is also on the rise.
While much of the attention is focused on the new San Diego start-ups and technology giants located in Sorrento Valley, it is important to note that a large percentage of high-tech and electronic products are manufactured at San Diego/Tijuana "twin plants."
