Despite what her birth certificate says, teen ice queen Tara Lipinski is an old soul.
''I don't really think about my age. I think I have a pretty normal life,'' said the 17-year-old skater, ''I have a busy schedule, but I'm used to that.''
One of the brightest stars in the ''Stars on Ice'' show coming to Firstar Center on Wednesday, she is also one of the youngest. But age, or the lack of it, has never been a factor in Ms. Lipinski's life.
At 14, she became the youngest U.S. Ladies Figure Skating Champion ever. Still just 14, she went on to win the Worlds. And her gold at Nagano in 1998 earned her a ''youngest'' spot in the Olympic record ...
