Jul. 15--RIVERBANK, Calif.--California Highway Technology doesn't build bridges or roads.
It just makes them stronger and safer.
The company, a subsidiary of Dayton Superior Corp., has opened a manufacturing plant at the Riverbank Industrial Complex. Dayton Superior is the nation's largest maker of products used in concrete construction.
Wesley Tilton, California Highway Technology's general manager, said the production line is being installed in a 32,000-square-foot segment of the former Army ammunition plant a long Claus Road. It should be up and running by September.
Parent company Dayton Superior is based in Miamisburg, Ohio.
