LOS ANGELES-Pour Le Bebe, the former licensee of the Guess Home Collection and Baby Guess, has filed suit against Guess Inc. after losing a lengthy licensing dispute with the trendy apparel maker.

The American Arbitration Association ruled against Pour Le Bebe for $7.7 million last month, finding it had violated the terms of its licensing agreement with Guess and failed to make royalty payments in excess of $4.6 million.

The new suit, filed by Pour Le Bebe in Los Angeles Superior Court, seeks to overturn the arbitration award and alleges that the licensing agreements between the two companies, and therefore the arbitration award, were nullified because ...
