Inter-Tel, Incorporated (Nasdaq: INTL) announces that Jon Brinton will assume the role of president of Inter-Tel NetSolutions, Inc., a wholly-owned Inter-Tel subsidiary that provides voice, video and data, local and long distance services to business customers. Brinton will replace Ross McAlpine, who is also president of Inter-Tel.net, Inc., an Internet Protocol (IP) telephony based long-distance network and subsidiary of Inter-Tel. This change in leadership will allow Brinton to focus on the development of Inter-Tel NetSolutions, Inc. and McAlpine to devote his full attention to Inter-Tel.net, Inc.
