DETROIT _ Two important boxing blends of alphabet soup _ HBO and WBA _ have taken a liking to Detroit's Bernard Harris.

The high-exposure result is a Saturday night date at Miami's American Airlines Arena with unbeaten southpaw Joel Casamayor of Cuba. The planned 12-rounder is for the WBA super-featherweight (130-pound) belt held by Casamayor (21-0, 13 knockouts).

Harris (19-8-2, 10 KOs), ranked No. 8 by the World Boxing Association, enters off impressive knockouts in his previous two fights. Harris-Casamayor is on the undercard of Felix Trinidad's first defense of his WBA super-welterweight title, against Mamadou Thiam (33-1, 30 KOs).
