Railroad Pacts Will Improve Service, Increase Rail Competitiveness

Canadian Pacific Railway Company (CPR) and Canadian National Railway Company (CN) announced two groundbreaking agreements today that will increase the efficiency of their rail corridors in eastern North America.

In launching this new era in eastern rail asset management, CN and CPR have signed two major "co-production" agreements to share track in Ontario, the Midwest and the Northeastern United States.
