SAN DIEGO, July 25 /PRNewswire/ --
Nanogen, Inc. (Nasdaq: NGEN) today announced the receipt of the first full lot of NanoChip(TM) Molecular Biology Workstation instruments from Hitachi Ltd. of Japan. The instrument systems, the first received by Nanogen under the manufacturing and supply agreement with Hitachi announced earlier this year, will undergo quality control protocols and final systems verification prior to their availability for customer shipments beginning in late August.
