Campbell County teachers may return to school next month to one of Kentucky's strictest dress codes.
When the Board of Education meets tonight, it will consider dress codes for teachers and for employees such as secretaries and instructional aids.
Under the proposed dress code, appropriate attire for teachers would include dress shirts, dress slacks, business suits and skirts that are knee-length or longer. Mini-skirts, coaching shorts and even athletic shoes would be prohibited.
District officials want to use the dress code as a way to set standards for students.
