Jul. 25--Registered nurses returned to work at Dameron Hospital on Monday, four days after the nurses staged a one-day strike to protest the Stockton hospital's stance on wages, benefits and overtime.
Procedures at the hospital were running relatively smoothly, nurses and hospital administrators said Monday.
"The transition was very easy today," Dameron's chief operating officer Nicholas Arismendi said.
No surgeries were rescheduled or sent elsewhere as a result of the strike, he added.
