INDIAN BEND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL NAMED TOP SCHOOL IN ARIZONA
PHOENIX, Ariz., May 26 /PRNewswire/ -- After earning Arizona top 10 elementary school honors four years in a row, Indian Bend Elementary School was named the best in the state during the 1988 A+ Elementary School Recognition Program.
The announcement was made at the 1988 A+ awards celebration attended by more than 300 people on Tuesday, May 24, at Mesa's Centennial Hall.
Forty-six schools statewide believed they qualified for the A+ honors, but only 10 schools made it through the grueling application and on-site inspection process to earn A+ commendations in the 1988 competition.
