Granite Broadcasting Corporation (Nasdaq: GBTVK) today reported its results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2000. Reported results were impacted by the disposition of the Company's Austin station in August of 1999. As such, the Company also reports certain "same station" information, which assumes the disposition had occurred on January 1, 1999.
On a same station basis, advertising revenue increased 3 percent for the quarter and 7 percent for the six months ended June 30, 2000 as compared to the same period a year earlier.
