Aug. 1--The Oregon Health Sciences Foundation has raised more than $50 million from private sources for the second year running, according to the foundation.
David Rubin, donor relations development director, said the total for the fiscal year just ended was $51.7 million from 21,000 donors. That compares with $52.7 million raised the year before.
"These are the first two years we've exceeded $50 million," Rubin said. Before that, the foundation had never raised more than $42 million, he said.
