FORT WORTH, Texas TCU returns a ton of key starting players this season. The schedule also is stacked in the Horned Frogs' favor.
Most important, however, coach Dennis Franchione's team has natural progression working in its favor.
After Franchione took over the program two years ago and led the Horned Frogs to a 7-5 record and a Norwest Sun Bowl victory over Southern Cal, a lot was expected last season. TCU stumbled out of the gate, though, losing three of its first four games.
