TOKYO, Aug 3 Asia Pulse - Hitachi Ltd. (TSE:6501) and two other Hitachi group firms said on Wednesday that they have signed a contract with a U.S. bio-technology start-up company to supply equipment related to DNA chips.
Under the agreement, Hitachi will develop decoding and diagnostic equipment that can be used for DNA chips made by California-based Nanogen Inc. Hitachi Instrument Service Co. will supply parts and consumables, and Nissei Sangyo Co. (TSE:8036) will be in charge of marketing products related ...
