United Plastics Group Inc. continues on its aggressive acquisition spree, agreeing to buy the SPM injection molding operations from Dynacast International Ltd.
The companies announced the deal July 25. A definitive agreement is contingent on government regulatory approval. Terms were not disclosed.
On conclusion of the deal, Westmont, Ill.-based United Plastics will have 16 manufacturing sites and annualized sales of about $400 million, up from last year's $105 million. United expects to close the transaction by Aug. 31.
